What is a plugin Chevrolet?
The plugin can read and erase fault codes (DTC) for engine control unit, transmission, ABS, climate control, and other systems in gasoline and diesel cars made since 2011. Additionally, the manufacturer-specific protocol can be used to read the parameters of gasoline engines. For some vehicle made between 1999 and 2005, only the engine control unit can be accessed (via OBDII/EOBD protocols. The app’s ability to connect to your car, as well as the number of ECUs and parameters it can detect, is determined by the quality of your OBD-adapter and other factors.We recommend trying the plugin for free before purchasing it.
To test the plugin before purchasing, on the Profile page, create a profile for your Chevrolet car and connect to the vehicle.
The plugin is enabled if the protocol for Chevrolet is set in the diagnostic protocol field.
The OBDII/EOBD mode is designed to connect to the car using the basic OBDII/EOBD protocol without the plugin participation.
If you are satisfied with the number of found ECUs and parameters, buy the plugin to remove the ## signs, which hide some values in test mode.
Depending on the vehicle modification, year of manufacture and technical capabilities of your OBD2 scanner (ELM327 adapter), the application can read information from the following blocks:
- engine Chevrolet;
- transmission
- anti-lock braking system (ABS);
- airbags (SRS);
- body control module (BCM)
- Power steering
- Headligh
- Parking brake;
